Loss of power

You might also want to pick up a tube of water sensing paste. $10 for a tube that will last you a lifetime. smear a bit of the yellow paste on a dip stick and put to the bottom of your tank. Stuff turns bright red in the presence of water. (It's used in gas stations on the end of stick they use to "stick" the tank. Since the water will always be at the lowest point you just need a little bit on the end of whatever you're sticking the tank with.

Where do you purchase this?

Kolor Kut was the stuff I bought. Do a google on water sensing paste and you'll get a bunch of hits, then just find a place that will sell single tubes. All gas stations use the stuff.

Installed the filter - 5 minute job. Tractor actually feels to have more power. I ran BH for about 30 minutes and it just purred along at 1800 rpm @ 32 fahrenheit temps... Put the box blade on and went down the road to do a little work... no issues...

I would install one just as preventative maintenance...

I had a problem of losing power after working for a while. It was found by mistake while the dealer was looking for the problem and loosened a fuel line to check the flow. He was hosing fuel off the injector pump and the revs increased. It was a bad pump that lost pressure when hot. Easy to check.
