I have a bx24 with 430 hours. This weekend I was mowing and the engine began to lose power. It would drop 300 to 500 rpm and then back up to max rpm. It did this several times while mowing. I am up to date on my maintenance, but it almost felt like the fuel was being cut off. I haven't had a chance to check on anything yet. Was wondering if there was anything to look for other than fuel filters. Anybody had this happen to them?

momentary safety seat switch from bouncing?? other safety switch momentary activation, loose connection at fuel cutoff solenoid valve...low fuel in tank sloshing around.

It could be the fuel cutoff solenoid. I have had an issue in the past when I could not get the tractor to shut off. After I unhooked the battery, I wiggled the solenoid and haven't had any issues since. The tank was nearly full so I don't think it was that. Also don't think it was the seat switch. Good ideas to check! Thanks!
