hi guys/gals, first post. I'm looking at possibly buying a mid-80s ford 1510 4x4 tractor with a 770b loader with turf tires. I'm not real familiar with tractors so any help you could give me before I go look at it would be greatly appreciated. I'm just going to use it around the home doing landscaping and odd jobs and bush hogging a 3 acre field. anything I need to be looking for in particular? also, what would be a fair price to pay if it is in good working order? how big of a bush hog would be best for this tractor? thanks in advance! roger

Some of those 80's Fords had a problem with cracking the head. I am not sure if that is a model that had that problem. You probably want a 4' bush hog. Check everthing over, see if the brakes work the 3 point hitch. Check all the fluids and see what they look like. Welcome to the forum.
