Backhoe Looking for JD 8A subframe

I recently bought a JD 850 and then happened across an 8A backhoe that I just purchased. Though it is missing the subframe. Im also looking for the mounting kit that attaches to the tractor as well as the power beyond kit. Im a new JD owner so any pointers would be much appreciated!

Both the 850 tractor and the 8A backhoe are pretty old (1980's) designs. I doubt you'll find much support or parts from John Deere, I'm afraid. As far as the power beyond, you might be able to find the components individually at a Deere dealer, but I expect the kit will be unavailable.

So, first place I'd start would be a dealer. As I expect you'll have to fabricate a subframe, at least you may be able to find picture or schematics of the design...same applies to the power beyond if you have to have tubing fabricated.


Another option...at least to start...search online for tractor salvage yards...I know there's a big one in Pennsylvania, but I cannot recall the name
