I went to my local Kubota dealer today where I bought my BX22. I got the dealer to give me a price on the following. 4wd 3130 DT ( do they make a 3130 DT or is it just the 3000 DT?) with R-1 tires, 513 FEL with the standard 60" bucket. He gave me a price of $15,900 w/o taxes etc.. I asked him what he would give me for my BX22 and he said he will have to call me back. Doesn't $15,900 sound kinda high? My payments are $262 a month now and I'd like to keep it the same and my wife would like to get them lower /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yeah now that I think of it $15,900 isn't too bad. I went to Carvers site and played around with the 3130 and the Kioti 3054 prices. Now I guess the question is how much I'll get for the BX22. I think I should have put this in the other "bota forum, sorry mods! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I bought mine about a week ago for $16,800, but that was with the 723 loader, 4 position valve and the extra heavy duty 72" bucket. The dealer here in AZ price matched a deal from Emerich in NY plus the shipping cost to get it here.

This is one great tractor !

Manganos, could I ask why you are ditching your BX22? Was it too small? From what I've read, most owners are pretty happy with those machines.

Thanks

I'm getting rid of it because I've pretty much exhausted the need for a backhoe and could use a bigger machine. My neighbor is getting up there in age ( I'm 25 so everyone is getting up there I supose ) and I find myself going to help him pretty often. He has 1600 acres. Some of the chores he needs help with could use a bigger machine then mine. I.E pulling fallen logs off of the hunting roads. He has two good size fords but if I can use this excuse to buy another new toy I will /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif . I love the BX. The only complaint is the low ground clearance. I've been stuck more then a few times. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Suprising, but the LA 723 costs very little more then the LA 513. I chose the same setup in a L3830 HST and R4's and TnT and a 3rd remote with quick couplers. I did not even ask about the 4 position valve but my dealer pretty much just gets in what he thinks is what folks will ask for. For that reason much of what he stocks is HST, foldable ROP's, etc. He will certainly order whatever you want though. By the way, what does your bucket measure on the inside? I kept my toothbar from my L48 which had a 72" bucket. I think my toothbar is just under 72". Rat...

You guys got some great prices there!

I just took delivery of a L3130HST, LA723 FEL with HD 72" bucket and loaded R4 tires for $17.5K. Since this set-up listed for 22.1K I thought I got a great deal. I also shopped around and this was the best deal and the dealer is 1 mile away from me.

I've sent some emails to Carvers Equipment and boy is Steve quick to respond!!! I get a slower repsonse from my dealer when talking face to face /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've now talked to the boss *wife* and she gave me the evil eye. She thinks the L3000DT model with the FEL and a 72" RFM would fit the bill a bit better. I tried explaining the telescoptic 3ph but it doesn't matter because she never hooks any equipment up to the tractor /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I bought my BX1800 from Carvers and am very pleased with my dealings with them so far. I have even had a couple of small issues that they have dealt with very professionally. I have nothing but praise for Steve and Al and would recommend them to anyone considering out of state purchases.

" she never hooks any equipment up to the tractor "

Well, maybe it's time for her to try hooking up some implements (while you wait in the seat, of course /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif). Don't forget, the 3130DT has the synchro shuttle, and the 3000 is straight stop&go geared. There's lots more differences besides the telescoping links. Start sellin'. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good point on the gear and the shuttle shift. I'd be happy with a bare bones tractor. I'm assuming with the gear tractor it is just like driving a manual truck? I taught my wife how to drive a stick on my 98 Camaro SS (6 speed). I'm sure I can teach her to mow they yard /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Don't forget the pto - on the 3130 it's hydraulically-actuated live independent, which is a big improvement over the live-continuous running on the 3000. The 3130 is also 700# heavier, and the available FEL's are much stonger. It's quite a bit more tractor than the 3000. And we won't even talk about the creature comforts, since you're a "bare bones" guy. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Can you tell I have the brochures, and that I'm drooling on one of them? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
