Hey friends- at the risk of sounding sentimental, I just wanted to take a minute to appreciate all you guys. The world is crazy out there right now, and this is my go to site. Although I've never met you in person, I enjoy every moment of talking and listening to our questions about buying and owning our tractors (brand not important). It feels like having a network of friends with a pretty dang common set of interests that are at the core of the best thing about our country and lifestyle (USA for me but all others included!). When the news is too much and I find no solace in any of it, it's time to get back to the basics of faith and our core values. I think maybe that's a good thing coming from a bad situation in the world right now. Meanwhile, I just took delivery of my 3rd tractor (Kioti DK6010SE) and had a ball working all three of them in tandem this weekend. I also spent time practicing balance in the mud with my horses and appreciated my family (not in that order- family first!). It was a GREAT weekend and I am blessed!! So here's to you, my amigos. Thanks for including me. I appreciate all of you. Stay safe and we will come out of this on the other side! Sam

Well said, shucksters.

I realize everyday how much more I have to learn when I read many of the posts here.

It is a good site that has some pretty smart people on it that can cover a lot of subjects. In other words ditto.

Excellent thread. I agree completely... Lot's of good people with amazing skill sets that love to share. America isn't finished by any means, not with the kind of people we have here on TBN. :drink:

Even if it were, I'm sure all the TBN'ers (and great many others) would be right there working to rebuild it (and everywhere else impacted) from moment it fell.

:tractor: on!

I agree with all or most posters except for the Political board that tends to be kind of wild most times.
\But then it was designed for those types to vent.

Yep. TBN has been a routine, daily stop to check-in... especially to let you all know that is indeed a worldwide community.

 Very good Wolf, sit back and listen . . . stores that are near me (not many) are letting us (older) into the stores by ourselves on certain days! :cool2:

Can't add much to what has already been said. This is one of my favorite sites and I'm thankful to have found it years ago!

Like many have written here, I come here to learn from those who know the places and ways I am going to get myself in trouble. In my day job, I am the Director of Operations of a small business in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The owner of our business, a friend for 40 years, bought 200+ acres in Virginia. I fell in love with the place and have asked if I might be the caretaker and play on the toys. He said, you get them running and you can play. Well, we have been playing. Building trails, mowing meadows, cleaning up and making the place much nicer. You, the members of this forum, keep these city slickers from killing themselves while playing.

I thank you for your acceptance. I thank you for your advices.

As to the times, I wrote my staff this morning that in times like these, we need to take care of today - to worry about just today. Tomorrow, we will face new challenges and face them together. Let tomorrow's worries for tomorrow. Let's work on the problems we know we have to face today. Together we will conquer and solve.

Those words came as a result of the work we have done on the property where we have applied he advice you have given. This community helps us. It grounds us. It fuels our passion to be on the land. Oh, I wish I were there now! (Governor says we aren't supposed to travel.. I could make better use of this time. But then, I suppose my staff also needs the old one.. Sometimes I feel like Gandalf!)
