I have 54.5 acres that i have been logging for my sawmill. The Titan root grapple has worked great for me.

Agree wholeheartedly with Rustyiron. I don't have a sawmill but I sure do enjoy/envy seeing the pictures of all those who do and the lumber they create with them! Looking forwards to seeing another interesting thread to follow.

I'll have to take some but it's nothing special. It's a Hudson Sawyer and I've had it for about 3 years. at the time it was only about $2k. it does a fine job but for a little more $ you can get something a lot nicer.

I do similar work on our land. Mostly mature hardwoods not small pines, etc.. I'm looking at tractors and was leaning of late toward the Branson 3620R geared tractor which is the larger frame same as the TYM 494 tractor but the smaller 3cyl engine yet still get the same FEL as the T494/T574 and similar weight. Yesterday I ran onto a new on the lot Branson 4815HST tractor. The 15 series is smaller frames but same engine as the T474-4cyl Kujuke. Have you skidded any serious large logs with your HST T394? I use forks only to load logs on mill, pick up lumber, etc.. My mill is a WM LT15 I've had for over 20 years. Thanks for your thoughts!
