I looked back at what was posted before he snowflaked out, and I can't see who initiated the tears? Was something edited out... Or am I missing something?

Hey guys thanks for all the replies everybody has a legit reason for my lame question I inherited this splitter with a broken pump and some other issues but the ram was fairly new and the control value works so instead of buying a pump and motor and a tank I ask the question about hooking up to the back hoe hydraulics I only use it during hunting season for camp fire wood. As for my answer looks like I can do what I asked with the parts I have just one thing how can I tell I have an open center control value

It was either beenthere or sawyerrob. Those are the only two that posted before he flaked. I think the bulk of the human race has evolved to the point of smaller brains and thinner skins:banghead: Social media has ruined many people.

Easy way to see if logsplitter valve is open center.....blow air in the inlet (P) port. If it comes right out the T (tank) port...yep its open center.

Highly unlikely that any cheap stand alone splitter would have anything other than open center.
