Wow, I guess when you have to , you have to. Where there is a will, there is a way. Got to use what you have, as they say. I hate to think what would happen if that thing picked up the log and spun it around

Hi All,

I just came into possession of a John Deere 135 Screw / Cone Log Splitter. It has a Stickler cone head on it. I am wondering if anyone has used these before or has any information on them? Where, when and how many made? Horse power requirements, etc.? I did every search I can think of on Google and can't find a darn thing on a JD 135 Log Splitter. Except for the obvious rust spots this implement is in good shape and I am looking to sell it as I don't use / need firewood, but I would like to know more about it before selling. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I put the smaller stuff next to the tire so the tire holds it and on the larger stuff when it gets too short I just dig a trench in the sand. Never had one spin out yet, knock wood. I do sharpen my chain a lot but as you can see there are no trees on the tundra so glad to have the beachcombed stuff.
