Came across this picture of a log puller. Also noted it had front forks for lifting.

It looks to be "pre" PTO!!

The front forks only stay on for six months or so and then need to be replaced. . The good ones have 1500 to 1800 lbs of thrust

On that one I'll pass on the eating bit. Them front forks with the branch gathers attached indicate it is long past even consideration for sausage!
