I know this has been discussed over and over, but obviously my 'search' skills are wanting and I can't find any of the discussions. I remember reading here of someone who had loaded the rear tires of his tractor by syphoning from a barrel into the tire, using a special valve that one would press the button of and periodically allow the air to escape from the tire relieving the pressure and allowing for more fluid to enter. I have the valve and 55 gallons of -20F windshield washer fluid and have attempted to load my tires. My problem is that when I let the air out of the tires to add fluid, the R-4 ( 15.00-19.5) tires come off the bead. After 5 gallons or so, I stopped and wrapped a cable come-along around the tire and cinched it up, and let the jack down a mite and after a couple of tries was able to get a bead seal again. I need some insight as to if someone has done this process before and what am I missing. Will using a drill pump overcome the pressure in the tire?

Thanks in advance for you help on this.

I had a similar problem with my new 2520. When I first started I had the tractor jacked up with the tire a little off the ground. When I started putting the anti freeze in the weight of the fluid pulled down on the tire causing the bead to break. After cinching the tire with a ratchet strap I inflated the tire back to operating pressure and let it sit a little while. I lowered thee jack until the tire was holding just a little weight and let the air out again. I finished putting the antifreeze in the tire with the valve stem at the bottom. Connected my adapter to my water hose and started filling the tire with water until the tire had good pressure then jacked the tractor back up so I could turn the tire to get the valve stem to the top.
As for the other side I used lessons learned from the other side I know you are using a different method but maybe something in my story will help you overcome the challenge.

Gotter done using a drill pump. About 40 minutes / tire. Greatly improved traction. Thanks for your thoughts.
