TYM 25 hp, 2014
My loader on my 25hp TYM tractor stopped going higher than 3 1/2 '. I recently changed the hydraulic oil and it's up where it should be. There are no leaks and all hoses seem to be connected. It's 11 yrs old but only 85 hrs and always garaged.

Was it super low prior to changing the fluid? Im thinking somehow you got air in there? Have you cycled it all the way down, all the way up, multiple times?

I don't believe it has a quick disconnect. I changed the fluid two years ago; there was no indication of air in the system then . Could it be the pump or a clogged filter?

Pretty sure it does and still believe this is your issue. What model TYM is this?

And to rule out the pump or filter, it would affect other hydraulic functions in the system, not just how high the loader lifts.

If it raises and lowers, partially, but not full range, starting only after the fluid change; its likely air, IMO. Have you tied end to end cycling it multiple times? Does it have the power to lift front end? Where their symptoms prior to the change?

If it started after only, and you haven't cycled multiple times, up down, up down, curl/dump, a few times; do that and report back.

Air in cylinders would not prevent the loader from lifting. It would potentially be bouncy but it would still lift to full height.

If pump is starving for oil or sucking air that could potentially limit lifting but typically you will hear the pump cavitating since sounds like rock crusher.
