4110 John Deere
I have a 4110 John Deere w. a 410 loader. Loader won't detatch. Latch and latch plate retainer are in correct position. Loader will not lift off tractor frame. Could the spacer in the latch plate retainer be incorrectly installed? Or what else might be wrong?

Welcome to the forum. You might get an answer if you ask in the john deere section.

Im not quite sure if a 410 is the same as a 430 loader but, I have trouble with mine sometimes. I prop the lever up with a tarp strap and use a big adjustable to pop the front plate off.

I have the same unit. Sometimes I have to give the front plate a little nudge with a flat bar to make it slide off. HTH

Just put my loader back on--after 8 years, I finally learned that if you curl the bucket just a tiny bit(like I were to dump a load) the front plate comes off without any assistance from me.

to second what Pipestone said, on my 400 x and 300CX you have to roll the bucket-just get front tires just about off ground.
