i have the same question, although I haven't read up on it yet. it's quick release and should be pretty easy i'd think. i tried mowing the bottom acre when it got warm a week ago, and the only wheels that sunk in were the front. We have a ton of clay here. I figure removing the loader will eliminate rutting to a large extent.

Took off the loader and mowed this week. Mowing without the loader is much better- little weight on the front is nice for mowing. Taking the loader off is pretty easy. I searched on YouTube and found a video on a John Deere (same 300 loader as yanmar)

As long as you have a manual, you don't need a video...
Find a flat level area (concrete floor is best) and follow your manual step by step. Take your time and do it right. It will get faster the second, third and so on...but if the first time takes an hour, it takes an hour...so DON'T RUSH IT!
Keep your RPM pretty low and use low gear when backing away from the loader.
Again...step by step using the manual!
One more thing, your hydraulic lines should be color codedin some way. If, for some reason, they aren't, use colored wireties or something PERMANENT to mark/identify them before you disconnect them.

Search on YouTube "John Deere loader remove". Our loader is much like the JD loader except when the kick the laches on the loader we have to get off and take the front pins out. Same process though. One of the videos is from mutton power
