Loader has scraped up my hood!

I should have seen this earlier but the U shaped piece that is used to keep the hydraulic hoses out of the way has been scraping my hood all along whenever I remove or attach the loader. I don't care about the 'Kubota' sticker but there are some non-buffable scrapes on the side of the hood and the 'BX2360' emblem needs to be replaced.

If I could bent that piece a bit that would do the trick but I'm not sure how; my other thought was to cover it with something along the lines of foam insulation such as is used on pipes. Any thoughts?

Here are several shots, which I hope help explain the problem. I placed duct tape on the end of the bracket as a temporary fix this morning.

I'd say your hook got bent out a tad. I'd just bend the thing back, to about half the width of opening it now has. Too bad it scuffed up the hood, though...

Thanks for the input I don't agree (that the hood is bent). I see no signs of bending/damage to the hood itself.

Your hook is bent inward toward the hood. Bend it out until it is parallel with the loader arm. The opening should be about 2 1/2 to 3 inches. You can slip the hole in the handle of an adjustable wrench over the hook and use the wrench for a lever to bend the hook.

The hoses don't look like they need any help to stay out of the way (bundled up pretty good). What would it take to just remove this rod? Got a photo of how it's attached to the tractor and does some else have a photo of how this rod *should* like on a BX 2360?

Ouch!....I agree, that rod needs to be bent back to where it belongs.
