No! Not true.
So I could not get any leverage with a wrench and therefore I hooked up my 6000 lb. hand winch to this 'U' hook and the other end around a small oak tree. I winched until I had maybe 2" of clearance between the U hook and hood at that point the left side of the tractor was slightly off the ground then left it for 30 mins. After removing the winch the U hook has 1" of clearance now.
Kubota must have welded on a U hook that was too wide??
Thanks for everyone's input. I'd like to get 2" of clearance but boy that thing is tough to bend.
