loader conversion

I have a 3400 ford with the factory loader that I want to change to a bobcat style quick disconnect. What brand of conversion has the most bang for the buck? I've tried to find a junk skidsteer to rob the plate to adapt myself but have struck out. Open to ideas,suggestions,etc.

I know there are companies that sell universal skid steer quickmount plates, only thing you have to do is weld some pivots to the back of it that match your front loader. which companies, i dont know...

Are you willing to change all of your existing loader implements too, to keep things compatible ??

the only problem with that is the Ford has a lot more power than all but the biggest skid steers so be careful what use for attchments and what you do with them

i contacted ATI for a QA conversion for my older pin style bucket.

mounting plate was like $1800 and weld on plates were like another $1000... WAY to expensive for my tastes.

They could have just said that they dont support older loader models anymore, instead of scaring you off with crook pricing !! for $2800 you're already halfway, when saving for a brand new loader WITH QA and bucket !

Still makes me wonder if the manufacturer has to pay some kind of license fee to a skid steer manufacturer to copy it... So expensive !!!

I think an aftermarket Euro-standard quick attach for farm sized loaders, is about 300 euro here...

I had the same issue with my little Ford 1210 with the standard bucket, and a set of Nursery Jaws. Pain in the neck to swap them. I also have a Bobcat, so I have FEL implements which fit one machine, but not the other. I decided to switch all my FEL implements to universal skid steer attachment. The ATI website shows a parts list for their Tach-all, and I fabricated from that. It works just fine. The most time-consuming was fabricating and assembling the locking pins
