Tractor
2216 and 8n
I have Mahindra 2216 with a lift capacity of 915 lbs at the pivot pins to full height. This number honestly means nothing to me. I want to know what the capacity of the bucket is. More specifically what is the carrying and lifting capacity of the bucket under normal conditions? The bucket can carry 5.8 cubic feet of material, and I looking to move a lot of セ minus around, 5.8 cubic feet of セ minus weighs 600 pounds. Will loading up the bucket to capacity and driving around on flat ground with the bucket maybe a foot or two off the ground cause any issues for the tractor? Is it a safe bet this machine can move セ minus around all day without any issues? Does anyone know what the in the bucket capacity of the machine is. I have the rear tires filled with about 400 pounds of sodium something to offset the weight.

Does 915 pounds at the pins mean I can place 915 pounds in the bucket raise it to full height and drive around with it at full height. I assume if I did this the loader would break.

I don't know much about the specs technically... but I have a 2015 HST (with nothing in my tires or any extra weights or anything) and I've filled the bucket overflowing with asphalt and then lifted it up 4' high to dump it in a dump trailer tearing out a piece of driveway and it handled it just fine.
I also regularly fill bucket overflowing with moist dirt and drive all around my yard no problem...my yard is flat...so be careful on hills.
Not real technical...but it's what mine will do for sure cause it has! ;)

Jasper 16, Not real technical on the spec's either but like Patiofarmer i also have a 2015 (mine is a gear). I don't think you'll have any thing to worry about. The 2015 and 2216 are the same tractor by the way,my understanding is the 16 series differ's only in emissions-not sure, but still the same tractor. 915 lbs is at the pivot pins, the load rating would be a little less the further towards the lip of the bucket you are, but I don't know any number's for you. (sorry). I have had mine just under a year and it is an amazing little tractor. In my loader I have lifted full bucket's of top soil, 2b gravel, rock's, shale, horse crap, tree stumps, light fluffy snow and heavy wet snow/slush. My rear tire's are loaded and I keep my back blade on for extra rear ballast. I drive around with the bucket at a normal transport height and the tractor is very very stable. Mahindra sized this tractor with a 48" bucket which is not especially big, so i dont think you could put enough in it to really damage the loader, but I guess anything is possible. I'm sure you know, probably not a good idea to drive around with the loader at full height (risk of tipping over). Not sure what you mean by 1/2-3/4 minus but I'm sure you will lift it. Good luck with your tractor !!

3/4 minus is just crushed up rock, gravel

You will find that Mahindra greatly underestimates the amount the loader can lift. My 2516 has lifted A LOT more then it says it can. The key is to keep the weight low. ;)

No, definitely not! Two things going on. First you are reading specs at the loader pins. Every inch you move out from the pins the less you can lift. Second every inch you raise the loader the less you can lift. Pretty much basic physics. Most manufactures offer lift specs X inches from the pins to X height.

As a side note. You never want to raise max lift capacity to full height and drive around. Very likely to tip the tractor that way. I am sure your meaning was to load a truck or such at full height with limited travel involved.
