Great pictures Charles and good information. I broke my antenna off the same way, but I was able to drill out the broken piece and epoxy the old one back in. At least we all know how to open up the roof to get at everything. Your doing an excellent job keeping us informed, thanks.
A 7 year break in posts.Update.
Fuel tank developed a split. Weeping diesel. New tank ordered. $750 with TAX. Will document the tank replacement once I receive it.

Correct, my thoughts also. It appeared over tightened from day 1. It has foam where it sits on brace and where straps go. Thinking 8 years and 780 hours of over compression.Photo #1:
Am I looking at it wrong, or was the metal bracket over tightened and squeezed the tank causing the split?
Mybe put some sort of rubber strip between the metal and the new tank??
What are you taking delivery of?When mine gets delivered that will be the first thing I look at.
