I think comparing the toxins in snakes is like comparing us humans. We are all capable of mayhem. We have the strength and technology.

I'm not sure if it is true but somewhere sometime I heard and it's stuck. The venom of a rattlesnake and the bee are of the same time type. It's the dose that's delivered that's the critical difference.

I don't mind snakes. They have their purpose and they do it like only they can. I just like to be able to see them when I suspect they're around. I feel the same about spiders, bosses, bill collectors, the police, and of course, exwives. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't know many African animals, so what is a duiker? Also, what is a Black Mamba?

My wife had a fit the last time I shot a snake that was in our swimming pool. It was out toward the middle of the pool and the water was 9 ft deep. There was no chance of damaging the pool with that .22 Browning Buckmark, but you couldn't convince her!
