Like the rk37. Are there any 3rd function options?

It seems that these tractors come with a lot of bells and whistles however if you want more like a 3rd function is that available or something you have to get aftermarket? We have an rk within 5 Miles of our house and the rk37 is about the only machine I could ever afford with a cab which is very tempting but I also want a grapple eventually and would want a 3rd function. The loader joystick has a hook in front Idk what is for. Thought maybe someone who owns one has researched more than me.

YouTube OUtdoors with the Morgans. Mike has a bunch of videos with the RK series. To answer your question, yes the RK37 has 3rd function. I see him use it all the time with a grapple. It might be a dealer installed option, but you should be able to get it.

I thought he had a grapple in the rk55. Not the 37?

I confirmed, Video #206 which is one of the last, is on the open station RK37. Maybe he switches it back and forth, I would have to look and see.

You are correct. I sent him an email. I would really like a dealer installed factory setup. The JD 2025r i have been looking at is about the same $$ but I would have to install an aftermarket diverter kit.

Yes it is a dealer installed option and RK offers it at a affordable price. It would be nice if they made it a standard feature.

Yes, it’s an option. I had the third function added to my 37 when I ordered it.

Mike uses the same 72” grapple on the 37 and 55. Both tractors have the 3rd function valve installed and he just moves the skid steer compatible grapple between tractors.

Is the RK a diverter valve or do you still retain the first 2 FEL functions?

I stopped by our local RK and they told me it was a diverter. That you could not use the raise/lower function while using it. I looked at one connected to an RK 55. I didnt see it work but was just a single button on bottom of the joystick. I would assume would have to have 2 switches/buttons to operate independently.
