Lights on rollbar

Bought some lights for my rollbar on my 3510i. For those of you who have done this did you run the wires inside? Where did you hook them up to the existing system? Where did you place the switch?

I made a custom bracket that bolts to the threaded bosses on the outside of the bar. I think the bosses are for adding a top. I made "U" shaped brackets and ran angle across with the lights inside the frame. I used pull ties to run the wire down to the right fender area. I put a switch under the amber flasher bracket and wired it to the utility light wire. I will try to post pics, I just haven't taken them yet.
I wouldn't drill holes in the ROP because if you ever had a rollover and ROP failure you would void any possible warranty/liability claim.

I ran my wires outside but on the inside of the frame, I also used that plastic housing....what ever you call it?
I ran all the way to the battery with a fuse very close
to the battery, this was from a switch in the dash,
I just drilled a small hole for a switch.
I had a set of Off-Road lights off from a Jeep TJ 1997-2006 (same)
These lights are dam near perfect the stud on the lights
fit the nut of the cage, just added jamb nut for proper addjustment. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Oh did mention they are bright!
I wired to the battery so the lights can be run without the key on, if needed.....
Be sure to use a fuse right near the battery, if ya go this route
FWIW lights inside the cage may bust you in the head?
Lights outside the cage may catch a tree branch?
