I purchased some cheap LED work lights from Ebay. four of them cost $28 first one failed after ten minutes of use, then one by one all four of them failed within a matter of a few hours of use. they have a two year warranty, seller agreed to replace them providing I send pictures or a video showing them hooked up to visually verifiable 12v circuit. all four together with a working lamp in the circuit. I am sure buyers try to scam sellers now and then. After thinking about it I decided to just eat the cost and move on, I really dont want more of the same problem. the tractor vibrates some and I thought the vibration might have taken out the one of the connections , I busted the lenses out them traced the issue to the driver chip on the circuit board, kind of shame that the lenses are glued in, I could have probably repaired the circuit bypassing the driver chip and installing a resistor. the lamps were designed to work at a very wide voltage range. would have been a simple fix to just install a current limiting resistor for the voltage I am running. I looked for the best LED lamps I could find from reputable companies. they cost ten times as much or more than the cheap imports. I am surprised I wasn't able to find more negative comments online about these super cheap led lamps. I am now considering upgrading the generator to an alternator and going with incandescent work lamps, there is a lot to be said for just changing a bulb rather than replacing a whole lamp. I dont use the tractor often at night , maybe only 10 hours a year at the most. anybody have any luck with a brand of moderately priced LED work Lamps?

I have a number of LEDs on mine and have had no problems to date.
Some I did pay a bit for and some are 'bargain basement' variety.
My favorite is a 12 led unit that has 4 spots center with the two outers 4's being flood. Simply awesome!
To the rear I have 2 ea 3" floods for snow blowing and under the rear cab roof a string of yellow leds that I tied into my turn indicators.
Even my dome light is LED.

try off road led light bars. you can get them at walmart, or tsc for about 30 bucks

Check out either Desert Rat off road or 4wheel Parts. They have a good selection of less expensive LED lights. I have bought the 4" cubes for about $70 /pair, and a 13" bar (that lights up like daytime) for $79.
