lift arms

I have 1212 David Brown the lift arm control does not work right. If you push the control lever down the arms will come up. any help

I don't know much about a 1212, but on our 885 if someone messes with the draft control then things can really get screwed up. I'd say check that. I've had two different mechanics, one of which knows a lot about DB tractors, look at it and neither figured it out.
