I got one of these units today at an auction. It is a brand new one with a 9" and 12" auger. I was concerned that the heavy clay here would be too heavy to penetrate.
I was quite surprised at the ease the augers screwed down through it. It has been a wet rainy month and this certainly has alot to do with it. The 9" in particular would bore almost to the hilt in maybe 5 seconds.
From what I have seen so far, this is a great attachment to have, going to be good for alot of planting other than postholes....although those too. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I am glad to here it works good!!! Have heard a few people comment that the only good ones cost around $1000
