Tom,

I went to the Anthis Center today and signed up for Arc Welding class. On the form there was a question as to whether or not you were in the Fort Wayne Community School district and I thought about your question regarding residency. I asked and was told it was only for statistical purposes and that they didn't care where I lived so long as my check for $140 clears. I think that's quite a deal for the money.

The bargains didn't stop there, either. They even had some very nice welding gloves there at $10/pair for either lined or unlined (every bit as nice as the pair I bought for $12.95), a pocket welding guide for $6 and protective goggles. I guarantee you they're not getting rich off those items.

For whatever it's worth, I was told there may not be a Wednesday night session so you may be limited to Monday or Tuesday. It's 6-10 PM either night. I went with Monday thinking if I have to miss class on Monday I might be able to sneak in to the Tuesday session that week. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

The first classes are next week so if you're going to do this you might want to get up here this week. Let me know what you decide. I'm looking forward to this. I think it'll be fun. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
