Last Fall, the motor started leaking around the cap that's on top. Terry sent me a new O-ring. The repair turned out to be pretty simple and would have taken less than 30 min. if it had not been for the two hours it took me to locate the O-ring that I put away last Fall so I would know right where it is. Darned if that don't keep happening to me these days. The first pic is of the top of motor. You just have to remove those six bolts and gently take off the end cap without disturbing the layers beneath.

Holding the end cap with defective o-ring stuck to it and another pic of motor with cap removed. You can see the groove around the outside edge where the new o-ring go's.
While I'm at it, here's a shot of the rod I used to replace the stop bolts at the brush hog swivel joint (swivel joint??).
And a pic of a little gizmo I picked up on Ebay for 60 or 70 bucks to move trailers and wood splitter around the yard. It works well and the price is right I think.

Good job!

Hey, that little 'gizmo' for moving trailers around looks pretty useful. From whom did you buy it?

Sincerely,

Rob :)

Someone on here has already built a trailer mover, using a quick-attach plate, a 2 in receiver, and a 2 in ball.

If you have a set of forks, just bore or cut a hole in the tip end and mount a ball when you want to move something.

I considered the other options, PT receiver hitch or getting a blank plate and have one built, but at 60 bucks the clamp on one made the most sense. I have the hole drilled in one of my forks but again, this little clamp on is much handier.

Don't forget abut the $20 bucks for shipping. $60 + $20 = $80
