Anyone have an idea of what my issue might be here? I have a ym1510d. I used it recently to move some dirt and rock. After I parked it in the garage I noticed there was some oil on the front tire. See the picture. I am hopeful that’s a simple gasket to replace and relatively easy to access and then relatively easy to put more oil in. Does anyone know what component I might be looking for or what the issue I am looking at might be?

I read something on hoye regarding gear oil. Am I good to use 90wt or 80/90 or any similar gear oil when I refill?

You can lift the front end and check for play in the pivot assembly or if any roughness can be detected in the bearings. If if feels ok you can just go to using a light grease (0 or 00) in the front end. No more nuisance leaks.

80W90
90W
75W80 synthetic

Stick with GL-4 as the wear protection is higher than the eco-friendly GL-5 with less.
