Yes, I had that problem on both my BX22 and on my BX23. Both tractors leaked on the very same side (the left gear case). I believe that the part number is #6A320-56220. It is relatively inexpensive.
It is not too difficult to replace yourself. You have to drain the oil and unmount the Bevel Gear Case from the Front Axle. You also have to remove a large O ring before you can separate the Bevel Gear Case from the Frong Gear Case. Be careful not to score the Front Gear Case housing when prying loose the old seal.
You will also need to apply a silicone sealant between the Front Bevel Gear Case and the Front Gear Case Cover during reassembly.
Good luck!

I know, old thread..I did my BX24 since it was leaking on the left side. I did not find it hard to remove the bevel ear housing from the front gear housing. Just tap the bevel housing with a ball peen hammer. Easy. Takes about 5 minutes to remove housing, remove seal and install new seal, install housing and snap ring. I just used Amsoil extreme gear fluid on the o-ring since I used that fluid. The old fluid (250 hours) was discolored and metal flakes.
SW03,
No issues changing them yourself?? Easy peasy??
I am getting ready to do the same to my BX24 with almost 900 hours. Been seeping for about 2 years now. Decided to change seals when I had a dime size drip on the garage floor. cleaned it up and "worked" the steering wheel back and forth a few times. No more drips in two weeks and I have been using the tractor. But I ordered the seals and o-rings to do both sides.
