What do you use to layoff your garden? Where to find them? Prices?
Dad use to have a push plow but most the time used whatever horse he had, really. He used one until he was over 75. Wow, he was heck of a man.
Around 73 his mare was with foal and couldn't use her so he chained the horse's plow to the Wheelhorse and I pulled them thru the garden as he made the furrows. I wished I'd videoed this cause I laugh everytime I think about that day and what the folks driving by must be thinking... a 33 year old making a 73 year old work like that and he'd not let me dare handle the plow! Too funny.
