Landtrac

Greetings...

During my current search for a 30+ hp 4wd tractor a dealer has mentioned a Landtrac he's taking in on trade-47hp (not sure which model, but sold new in 1999), under 300 hours, the block is being replaced (according to them (and they have a good reputation) there's nothing wrong with the block, but Mitsubishi says it may leak and sent a new block to be installed). Ag tires, chains, loader and forks. He's asking 13,900 right now. I haven't looked at it yet, but may this weekend. Any thoughts, comments, etc...? They guy trading it in is also trading in a Zetor later this year (both for Kiotis).

I have a Landtrac 360DTC, 36hp 4wd with FEL and backhoe. I have about 70 hours on it now and have had no problems. The backhoe isn't quite as powerful as I would like, but other than that it is a great tractor. I paid $22,000 new for mine in Dec 2001. Has many nice features, including posistion and draft control on the 3ph, 2 rear hydraulic remotes, 2 mode PTO (live and independant), and shuttle reverse. I have done a lot of work with it, including pulling a mobile home up a slight incline to a spot I leveled using the FEL.
