i just got a deal (i think) on a spreader got it for 100.00 almost new still has the price marked in the hopper $549.00
hi also had a 7 foot tiller he wanted 150.00 for it it was kinda old and looked really heavy. so did now i have to figure out uses for it.. did i get a good deal??? jon

I had a landpride fs700 pto spreader, it was rotted through in less than 2 seasons. The price was cheap for yours, bomb it with oil after you spread fertilizer and perhaps you can make it last. Good luck & yes you did good on the price.

thanks for the heads up, i still have to figure out a use for it gonna plant a pasture with it how do you think it will work for oats/pasture mix seed...if at all jon

I think you will do fine with oats/pasture mix etc. The side mounted drop doors make it a very difficult spreader to calibrate for fertilizer. I have a sitrex spreader now with bottom mounted drop doors.
