- Kubota L2350 with LB400 FEL
25 horse Kubota L2350 with gear drive and 4WD. Total road length is between 3/4 and 1 mile.
Another neighbor has been dragging the road with makeshift implements on a skid steer, keeps the potholes filled but the surface is irregular, the crown is gone, and we're getting a "kerb" on the edge that keeps the water from running off.
I'm trying to convince everyone to kick in for a purpose build implement. Plain drag blade unlikely to work, box blade would probably have similar problems to what is being used (as tractor front rises and drops it would gouge the surface). Thinking probably a land plane with scarifier to make sure the hard bits are chewed up and leveled (unless there is something better).
What would be a good one with enough adjustment to allow for crowning and hefty enough to do the work? I'm thinking heftier and narrower better and just take multiple passes.
Would the land plane work to dress the shoulders too or would that be drag blade territory?
