L4802 HYDRAULIC FILTER QUESTION

It’s time for my 50 hour service for my L4802. The recommended Hydraulic filter (not the HST) is the TC830-37700. However, it costs about $155. That’s just crazy. I haven’t been able to find a cross referenced filter, but wondering if the older HHTA0-37710, used on the older L’s will fit and work… and is there really a difference between the two? I know that John Deere changes model numbers on the same filter and jacks up the price. I suspect that Orange is no different. Thanks

I would still bite the bullet and go OEM for a hydraulic filter.

What about the rest? Micron rating? Flow rates? Bypass valve setting? There is a lot more to a filter, specially being on the suction side of the pumps.

There is a chance it could work, but without knowing the factory specs of both filters, it's hard to give a correct answer.

THank’s guys. I just ordered the OEM from my local dealer at $163… for one stinking filter.
