L45 3rd Function - Hydraulic Auger

I've seen the sales brochure for the L45 state the front 3rd function can be used for more than just a grapple, that it can run a motor up to 12 gpm. I am wanting to run an auger / post hole digger off the FEL.

Has anyone run anything other than a grapple off the front of their L TLB using the factory 3rd function? If so, how well did it work?

I have a Kubota L45 with a landpride hydraulic post hole digger that mounts on the SSQA. It has a 9" and 15" auger, it works great.

L4060 & OEM 3rd function... Its a bit weak & low on power compared to my old 3pt unit. 14hp hydraulic power, best case scenario vs 20+ easy on my old PTO. But reverse & downpressure make it better overall.

I have the smallest Danhuser one, for 8-14gpm or something to match my 12gpm on the machine.

I've heard rumors that the 3rd function solenoids might not be happy with continuous duty. But I've been fine with a few hours of the usual 1 minute on 1 off while moving around so far.
