I just noticed the other day that the rubber boot covering the steering cyl. rod end is torn completly around. They look like a cv boot. Is this a major job to fix and must it be done asap?
I have managed to tear up two of them. Wasn't much trouble to replace. The two hardest parts for me were getting the ball joint loose and re-installing the retaining rings.
