L3710 Exhaust

I picked up my first tractor this summer and am really happy with the L3710 but the side exhaust is bad when tilling all day. Do they make a rear exhaust retrofit or is ther a modification forum for this model?

I've seen a mod somewhere where the exhaust was extended vertical above where it now exits to above the operator station. I wouldn't want it slung underneath the tractor for an auto style exit due to potential damage to the pipe.

Another consideration is the risk of creating unwanted back pressure on the exhaust. You'd have to know what you are doing there or at least learn more to make sure no mistakes were made. I run an L3700 with exhaust to the left of the engine, down low, and I can't say the fumes get to me much. We do have a lot of breeze here though so that probably helps.

Search the modification threads on this forum and see what you can find.

Thanks a bunch but I didnt see that 4shorts did the mod on an L3710. I thought I had seen a Kubota kit somewhere that re-routed the exhaust down under the tractor and out the back but not sure I would want it there due to weeds/rocks but surely someone has done a mod with a stack out the top?

No, he didn't, but I thought the ones he had might give you some ideas as to how it could be done. I don't know of a kit, but that doesn't mean there isn't one, good luck.
