Kubota L 3560
I'm in the market for a Grand L3560 with a cab and loader. I have a 2013 L3200 w/ loader with 100 hrs on it that I am going to trade. So far I have been quoted in the $34,000.00 range by two dealers. I just wanted to get some opinions from you folks on what a good deal would be on a price for the new tractor and a trade in number on mine. Thanks in advance for any info.

$34,000 including the L3200 trade as part of the payment, or $34,000 for the L3560, separate from the L3200?

Have you worked up a price for your equipped L3560 through BUILD YOUR KUBOTA on Kubota's web site?

You should BUILD YOUR KUBOTA first.

Great tractor.

Yeah, I've built one online. $40,000 and some change depending on what remotes I pick and if I go with a radio or not. The quotes I've gotten have been just for the tractor. I had one dealer offer $14000.00 for my trade. I think that is pretty good but I would love some other opinions.

$14K for the trade would be very good, considering you're competing with new L3301 models that have rebates and low interest financing. I was seeing trade offers in the $12-14K range on my L3200 that had similar hours when I considered trading for an L3560 last winter.

On the new machine, anywhere in the range of 10-12-15% off MSRP is a reasonable discount. How much depends on a lot of things. I'd be happy to get 12% discount in my area.

Thanks for the info. This is very helpful. I love my 3200 but I'm just getting too old for the heat and dust. That cab and AC is looking better and better every time I get on the tractor. LOL

I love my L3560HSTC. I bought it for the heat in the winter as I hate the cold and plowing my 1000' gravel drive with the winds whipping the snow at me sucks. The bonus was the AC as the glass on the cab is like a greenhouse, the sun comes in and heats up like an oven. The AC works great and NO BUGS! P1280013 (4).JPGP7060002.JPG

I doubt I ever cut the heater on down here. All the glass in the cab is one thing I worry about with this small engine turning the AC on these 100 degree days. It's gotta be better than not having one though. One problem right now is the dealer is telling me they can't get a machine from Kubota until October. These things must be selling like hotcakes.

The other thing my dealer told me was to be sure to close the door every time I get in. He has a guy who forgets all the time and has replace the door 3 times in 2 years. I make sure I close it every time. In the fall it is nice to open the side windows and the rear window and have the fan on low to get some nice fresh air in.

I sold my L3200hst with 330 hrs last fall for $20k with a rotary cutter, pallet forks, PHD & a SSQA snow plow. It was a nice machine with TnT, 3 rear spools, ROPS lights, bucket cam & power SSQA.

My new L4060hstc was $45k & is pretty much fully loaded. Loaded R4s, loader, Piranah tooth bar, 3rd function, 3 rear remotes, air ride, front & rear wipers, rear defroster, big alternator.

I test drove L3560s & they were double the weight of my L3200 with only 3 more HP. Granted I live at 7,000' here in Colorado, so everything makes less HP. But I found the L3560 underpowered. I do a fair bit of roading & my L4060 is down to 6-7mph on hills. The L3560 would have driven me nuts. I couldn't justify the $4-5k for the next bump up in HP though.

My machine had some hydraulic issues from the get go. Turned out to be improperly adjusted 3pt. And the 3 sets of TnT cylinders the dealer tried leaked all over and/or didn't fit. They refunded me that price & I'm still waiting for FitRite to make me a set (any day now finally). I'm really hoping they work as well as the set MtnViewRanch made for my L3200.

I found a 4760 with a cab on a dealers lot today and was able to check it out. I was pretty impressed with how much room there was. I'm a pretty big guy and that was a big drawback on the John Deere 3039R I looked at. Is the 3560 cab much smaller than the 4760 or will they be the same?

I believe the L3560 is the only unique Lxx60. All the rest are the same frame only different engines & tires.

The L3560 isn't that much smaller than the rest. But for me it was underpowered. The L3560 is noticably bigger than the JD 3000 series in height & width.

I love my L3560HSTC, but I wish it had more power as I have a very steep hill on my driveway. I would have gotten a larger "60" but I was constrained by the height of my barn entry. As it is, the 3560 just makes it in with less than an inch of clearance. But I love the roomy cab, the AC and heat in the winter.

Well I pulled the trigger and ordered the tractor. Thank you all for the information. It really helped. Hopefully it'll get here before October but if not I'll wait. I got the L3560 with Cab and a rear remote with detent. Also got the LA805 loader with the 72" round back bucket and third function. Anything that I should add while I'm ordering? I can't see paying 400.00 for a radio when I can just add that myself. Other than that I can't think of anything to add to the tractor.

Search on here for my name & radio. The adapter can be had for under $10. That adapter is all you need to add a $50-150 radio. Speakers & antenna are already there. No need to pop the roof to install it either, just remove the plate over the radio hole.

I got the big alternator required for the rear defroster (new window with the heater elements in it). I like it for the snow. Front & rear wipers are handy.

Air ride seat is an extra Grand. But if you have a bad back like me so worth it.

Loaded rear tires aren't mandatory like they were on my old L3200. That machine was way lighter, especially in the back. Good idea to load the rears for traction & stability, but it won't help the low HP.

I got 3 rear remotes, 2 float, 1 double acting detent. Ordered TnT, but the (non-Kubita) cylinders the dealer kept getting sucked. Refunded & im waiting on FitRite cylinders still.

Don't get the rear work lights. I put in my own front & rear light bars. You'll be better off getting your own LED lights to replace the standard front ones & add the rears. Rears are all wired up, just need to plug into the wires there & plug in a new rear switch. I put in overkill power to run my light bars & other future stuff. But the stick wiring will handle some slightly bigger than stock lights.

Tires are a personal or task choice. R1s have better traction, especially in loose dirt & mud. R4s are more durable, last longer, tear up turf less & cary heavier loads a little better. I'm happy with my compromise R4s.

To add the cheap adapter I used may have inconsistent colors. There is some tractor radio place selling em for $25 or so that may be more reliable & documented for color/position to match up to your radios harness.

Don't remember if I documented my color codes. There is a Kubota RTV radio wiring thread on here that I think had the right color codes listed for all Kubotas.

I ordered the tractor. I got the L3560 with Cab and a rear remote with detent. Also got the LA805 loader with the 72" round back bucket and third function.

Congratulations.

Here is a thread on the few custom touches I made to my L3560:

A Bucket Spade is very useful mounted to L2296 H-D, R-B bucket:
