I have 10 acres (small horse farm) with pond and several paddocks. Will be snowblowing with rear blower long driveways and bushhogging paddocks. Will also need to periodically move round bales (up to 1000lbs each). Manure removal and spreading, etc. Which tractor would everybody recommend?

Thanks for your help!

I went with the L3430 with R4 tires....put the price difference towards the 723 FEL...don't let the dealer talk you into the 513 loader...it won't lift the hat off your head /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I move round bales, mow with a 6 foot hog, dug the pad for the new shop building, cut the drive and spread the gravel on the drive, drilled the holes and installed about 4 miles of fence, etc...
Yes, I'm a happy lil camper...

Hey Garey thanks for the input. How long have you had it?

You cant go wrong with either. I went with the 3830 w/723 fel, r-4's, etc...& i'm very impressed. I use my tractor to do sidework(bushhoggin', foodplots, rake&load hay,etc..). One piece of advice I can pass on is if you plan on towing your tractor, make sure you get a big enough trailer. I bought a new 18', 10,000lb trailer, & with the fel attached & bushhhog/disk on back, I'm really pressed for room.
