L3400 will it run a square baler?

Talking with a friend tonight. He said it wouldnt run a square baler. Will it?

I think it would be all that it could do and you wouldn't need but the smallest models.

Most of them will need a minimum of 35 PTO horsepower which would equate to about a 45 engine.

I'd say it would be at the small side for a square baler. Just barely perhaps.

it is hard to believe it takes much hp to run a bailer but I think you need lots of wieght. When the plunger is moving it pushes the bailer back and forth and the tractor needs to take all this abuse.
