I have a 2012 L3240HSTC that I want to install a camera system on and I am looking for a switched power wire. I found a plug on rear of the right side interior panel that looks like it would work. It is only hot when switch is on. Does anybody know what this plug may be for? My only guess would be for the compressor of an air ride seat from where it is located. I do not have the work shop manual yet. Any help is appreciated. If someone knows of a better place I would like to know that also. Thanks

Thanks Fallon. I know a WSM is needed. I have not looked under left fender yet.

Cab or no??

Pull the roof off (5 minutes) and mount your stuff under it, there is just enough room.
You can utilize power for rear defrost already there.

Good luck, Fred

I already had the top off and thought about that. I really didn't want to cut or tap into any of the existing wires without the WSM to know what they were for. Rear defrost looked to have a mini plug to go to the OEM switch. I ended up using the plug for the Grammer seat with an additional fuse in between that plug and the switch. Also another fuse between the switch and cameras. Second camera showed up today with a bonus. I bought just the camera and I was shipped a camera and another monitor all in one box! Guess I have a spare now.
