( huskerpilk, remember these prices are in Canadian dollars not US dollars. $1 USD =~ $0.78 CDN. $23,800 CAD =~ $18,564USD, including snow blower and bushhog. I think I only found 4 Kioti dealers in all of Ontario, one local to me. Fewer dealer = higher prices. I think Kubota has over 40 dealers in the province, three local to me. It seems all CUT prices are much higher here than in the USA. )

Ok aye...didn't know we were in Canadia aye. Now it all makes sense aye. The $18500 seems somewhat reasonable with the snowblower and brush hog. I still think if you pushed, that $$ should be less. You might be getting retail quotes which is very common down here. They are looking to see if you flinch. Most of our dealers have a selling price which is reasonable. A few are selling on small margins and going for big sales numbers. Good luck with the purchase.

Absolutely, Kioti is worth considering, and it made my top 3. The points that drove to to Kubota and Deere boiled down to this - dealer location, dealer service, and ability to hold value over the long haul. At the time I was looking Kioti didn't have an HST machine, and that was the final issue that pushed me towards the other two brands.

Could somebody direct me to wherever it is that all of these used Kiotis that have awful resale value are? I'll be in the market for another tractor (larger than a DK 45) and I'd like to find one of these tractors that some sucker bought and then (ha ha ha) tried to resale or trade in. I assume that they must be available at a substantial cost savings versus new; it's already been noted by several folks that, at least in the USA and Canada that used Kiotis must sell for pennies on the dollar. As someone who is well acquainted and more than satisfied with the quality of a Kioti, I would like to find some of these rock bottom deals on a used Kioti that does not hold its value, that way I win twice.

( Neil, I haven't checked lately, but I am under the impression that CNH stock has been climbing very nicely since they had a stock split a couple years ago. I never looked up Mahindra's stock, but I looked up Daedong a few months ago and it was showing really bad 5 year trend lines with some erratic activity that ran into a slow downhill run. I never corrolated stock prices to resale value but that is interesting. What is the symbol for Mahindra? )

That corrolation seems to make sense to me. Its probably the one indicator that we can look at that removes everyones bias's. I would think that the long term viability of the company should be an indicator of somthing, draw your own conclusions. CNH has been the one profitable arm of Fiat for awhile now, maybe its the Fiat connection thats causing the impact. I'm no analyst, last time I tried the stock market I lost my shirt so maybe I should just shut my mouth /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

If you want to find Mahindra go to quicken.com and you can search the global markets.

You may try eBay. There was a '98 model 30hp 4X4 with a loader in "like new" condition for $5300.
