That is a SCAM. There are some scammers out there that steal peoples ebay ID and then post items on ebay. The items are items that have previously been on ebay, they just re-use the pictures. It is very common in the motorcycle atv sales. They are usually 3 day auctions and have a pre-approved bidder requirement. Send them a question and ask them where the tractor can be seen. Even though the auction location says MN, I will bet you that they will say that the tractor is in Austria, Italy or Spain. They will answer you and tell you that once you wire the money to them they will ship the tractor via UPS or FedEx.

I'm hooked as I sent to see what it is. For that money how could I go wrong even as a dealer. My second thoughts are that is how much he wants over the loan.

I was looking at the Kubota 5 minutes ago and when I went back to look again and look at the 2210, I couldn't find either. These auctions tend to get yanked quickly once the real person discovers someone is selling under their user ID. It happened to a friend of my bro- in law. The sammer sends an e-mail that looks like an authentic e-bay email. They ask you to update your personal info, including user name and password, and when you do they go in and change the password and they have your account along with your positive feedback so people will gladly sent them their money.

I went back and found it again. I sent them a message asking where the 2210 could be seen. This should be interesting.

couldn't locate this tractor on ebay this morning..looked at the completed items, and saw 2, 50 hp kubotas that where supposedly sold for less than $5000 as buy it now sales...i sent a message to one of the buyers listed, and asked if they really got a tractor or if it was a scam..will let you know if i get a reply..

I put the 3130 and the 2210 on my watch list on ebay. This morning it showed that the auctions were deleted. It was a scam. If it is a ridiculously low price, a 3 day auction, and they require you to be a pre-approved bidder, then it is a scam. Those are the classic tell tale signs of this scam. By the way, I never received a response from the seller.

i contacted one of the "buyers" from a previous sell that was priced really low, i asked if they really got a tractor for that price..here is their reply.

This was a scam. Someone had hyjacked a legitimate e-bay account. Thankfully it was pretty obvious this person wasn't on the up and up. They had listed the tractor location as in Virginia, but he wanted us to wire money to him in Amsterdam - then he would get the tractor to us!.

E-bay is investigating this person - hopefully they will find him.

I have noticed a number of scammed tractors on Ebay recently. I contacted one seller asking $5000 for a new JD4100 as "Buy it now". After I asked the seller a few questions, I received a very terse reply saying "let Ebay police Ebay" and quoting from the Ebay user agreement. He pulled the item shortly after that. Maybe my government email address spoofed him.

Anyway, if it's too good a deal to be true, it's probably not true.

- 2003 John Deere Tractor 2210 w/ Loader - $ 3600 - This is a 23 hp liquid cooled 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel engine tractor with four wheel drive. The transmission is hydrostatic. The tractor has 80 hours of use. These tractors come with a 2 year all parts and labor warranty. This tractor has a three point rear hook-up. Also the tractor will take a belly or tow mower. I bought this tractor in June of 2003. It is an excellent tractor for doing small jobs. It has scratches on the bucket and a few on the body from 80 hours of use.

The tractors were purchased in Italy but they were american models.
The price includes Ocean Freight shipping and insurance for the trip.The keys and the paper will be sent via FedEx and you will get them in 2 days. The tractor will arrive in 2 weeks.
Before shipping takes place you have to make a deposit for the entire amount.
The idea is that I don't require a payment in advance, only a payment proof that you have the money and you intend to buy it.
