L2900

My L2900 only has 400 hrs,and I think a bearilng in the rear axle maybe out.
It makes a popping noise like the wheel is loose.Any suggestions would be appricated.

If the wheel in question has a center disc bolted to the axle flange with the outer rim bolted to the disc, check the outer bolts. If they work loose at all, it will make a popping sound as it shifts around, and sound a lot like a dry bearing. It's far more likely than an axle bearing failure with only 400 hrs

I have the same problem by my L2900 gst has 846 hours. I will check the wheel lug nuts first thing tomorrow. I noticed it while picking up my hay....I place it in 2nd and let it go while I load the bails on the trailer. I placed my hand on the wheel as and it popped at a specific spot.
