Tractor
Kubota L3400
While I own an old Kubota 175, I have been mowing grass my with an old Murary rider. This rider has finally died and rather than spend several thousand for another riding mower I hope to use this as an opportunity to buy another tractor. I have about 60 ac of mostly woods and about 8 ac of land is grass. I have to contend with deadfall and brush constantly. I thought that the L2800 may be a little large for my needs but the dealer says he can't get a grapple for anything smaller (like a BX). Here is a list of what I want to acomplish:
1. finish mow grass (some slopes kinda steep)
2. move dirt & gravel
3. move brush and deadfall
4. box blade chert drive (maintain)
5. Move materials and such during house building.

Many others but these are the most pressing.
The dealer has quoted me $18,750.00 for a L2800 with a woods FEL with 5' bucket and a manure fork with grapple.
Industrial tires,Loaded. Whatcha Think?

While I like my old Kubota and have been happy with it, I am not immune to suggestions of other brands.

Thanks for any input.

The usual comment on off FEL for a new tractor is go with the Kubota Loader. ATI makes a QA and pallet forks for the Kubota FEL
Your list of option, does not include a mower.
What are you plans for mowing 8 acres of lawn? Are you going to get something else to mow with?
Is the L2800 a HST?

Yeah, I don't know how much the fork and other impliments are, but my quote was a bit high at $16,593.22
L2800 HST
R4 tires (rears filled with water mixture)
Kubota LA463 loader (5' bucket) with quick disconnects

Some additional impliments that he quoted were a 5' bushhog rotary cutter for around $800 and a FTH600 Bushhog Finish Mower for $1700.

Are the B3030 and the B7800 essentially the same, or would you recommend the B3030 over the B7800?

I've been bouncing back and forth between the 2800 and 7800, never even thought about the 3030, now you've piqued my interest :)

just got b3030 and considered b7800. better seat/ergonomics, better control of 3ph, and more bells and whitsles. i know me, and i would have spent 1k to change things i wouldn't be satisfied with on b7800. very satisfied so far and like the updated look.
