L2550dt front axle problems

pivoting portion that the wheel hub bolts to and the street elbow plumbing looking thing that bolts tot he axle. That is what I wasn't able to get together. I've got another 1/8" or more before I have a chance of getting the snap ring in place. Mesicks claimed I ordered the correct pieces, so I had them send out another on the assumption that I screwed it up somehow. Hopefully I'll get it together this weekend. This week would have been rough enough on its own with the mess at work, but massive (ok maybe not that massive, estimated 3 pints. A stick poked me in the leg juuuuust right) blood-loss on Sunday afternoon has left me a bit foggy all week.

If you lived in Western Washington I would come help you get this thing together. Three pints is a good amount to lose. Yes, rest till you manufacture some new stuff.

The nightmare continues.
I threw in the towel, and sent the parts up to the "local" Kubota dealer. Apparently they are refuising to do anything unless the whole tractor is there....65 miles 1 way....even if I could load it up with the front axle in pieces.
Dad is looking for another larger tractor anyways. This crap has Kubota right out of the running. Maybe I'll be picking that towel back up.

well, paid a guy that does stuff on the side $75 to put the outer back together, and all is good finally.

I put the seal in wrong, as I strongly suspected (I outsoutced mainly because of lack of propper toold). I made the error of installing it like the OE seal was installed.
