I recently bought an L2500 and had a question about the oil level showing on the dip stick.
The dip stick the owners manual shows looks different than the one on the tractor.
The attached picture is of the oil level on the dip stick. The marks on the dip stick seem to have a wide range from other tractors I have looked at.
Does this look like the original dip stick for the tractor? Are the tick marks correct on the dip stick?
I just want to make sure I'm running it with the correct oil level. Thanks. 20180808_191448.jpg

It's possible but to me it still looks like the top fill mark is all the way at the top. It seems to run fine so I guess it just has a wide range in oil level. Thanks for the help.
