Buying Advice L245DT

Looking at l245dt with pto driven post hole digger. What should I be looking for? What is a fair price? Is this a dependable, low maintenance unit when properly maintained? Are there any glaring faults to be on the lookout for?

Welcome to TBN - the L245DT is getting old enough that its value will depend completely on condition. Use the Search function for keyword L245 for some reading. If it has a loader it could be worth $5k-$7k +/- if everything is in working order, no leaks, air filter intact, no blue smoke, no knocks, loader lifts front of tractor easily, tires decent, sheet metal all there. I bought a L285, next size up, no PS, no loader, old tires with dry rot but holding air, poor paint 900 hrs for $1,400 about 9 months ago. Very similar machine, without loader I would say tops $3000 even in good shape. Even with a loader, and good shape I wouldnt expect more than $4500.
