Hello,

Looking for opinion, concerns, and issues regarding the L2350. I'm going to look at a 1996 2350 with a FEL and Backhoe. The tractor has a broken Tach, leaking cylindeer on the backhoe and a headlight out.

I'm curious as to what the repair/replacement cost of a tach wold be along with a rebuild ont he backhoe cylinder. Would a wheeping cylinder prevent use of the hoe till the snow flies? Should I worry the hours aren't being logged with the tach broken?

Any ideas on pricing for this unit too?

Thanks for the help!

The problem with the tach could be the head or the cable. the head will cost in the $70.00 range, the cable would only be around $18.00. When I am looking at older tractors I value their condition over the # of hours, even if the tach is working on an older tractor there is still no assurance the hours are correct. The hour meter not working to me would not big concern again the condition of the equipment would be more important.

If the backhoe cylinder is just seeping a little oil other than the mess no other damage should occour as long as you maintain the proper oil level.

We have a 1995 L2350DT on our lot with 390 hrs. canopy, loader for $8,500.00
