I am on the market for a BX25. Effectively this design is 2 years old. Thinking to hold assuming next generation is coming next year (2015). What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that it's not going to happen. This BX25d is a new this year update. The BX23 was around 11 years ago and many years later went to BX24 (Bought a BX2350 June 09 which is the BX24 series) which was their bad series with plastic body parts and abrupt stop in reverse and a few years ago at least prior or in 2010 I bought one that year Kubota went to the BX25 which has this year evolved into the BX25D which I believe will be around for at least 5 more years but what do I know?:D I believe you will be disappointed following your logic even if the do a BX26 it will just be a BX25 with a different series number, probably cost more since they go up in cost every year which pulls the older models up in value to so waiting to me makes no sense. Again my :2cents:

I think right now, their engineers are flat out on migrating everything over 25 hp to being final tier 4 compliant. I don't think they'll be making major changes to the BX line for 2015, but you never know. Was posted here that the dealers are up on the changes for next year, but no mention of a new BX series. There is an auto-connect MMM deck coming, however.

I have a kubota BX2370 2013 and its great, you would love the BX25 but if it has the old gauge cluster that just shows the engine temp and fuel meter and rpm while running and not hours while running don't get it. I have the gauge cluster that shows rpms, fuel meter, engine temp and hour meter all while running and i love being able to monitor my engine while running to see whats going on.

The auto-connect MMM deck is one of the features I will like to be added to the BX series. Any solid leads when Kubota will come out with one? Thx

Already in production. Barlows said he has 3 coming and he doubts many people will buy them.

If the BX tractors start getting any more capable, it will cause a chain reaction of all series needing a bump as well. Which I'm sure is what they're moving towards eventually, but those BX25's are pretty awesome as they are. Dad has a 2005 BX23 and it is simply amazing for it's size.

In my opinion, about all they can change on the BX series would be creature comforts, possibly tilt steering, L/R braking, 3pt upgrades like pos. control, telescoping end links, ratcheting lift links, etc. Maybe they already have some of those, I haven't checked. I would think the BX25 is nearly as capable as the B2320 in most ways.

I was at a Kubota dealer a couple of days ago test driving the Bx2370. The salesman told me the new Bx's will have an optional drive over MMM this spring.

He told me he was just at a regional meeting and had a brochure regarding the drive over decks, which he made me a copy of. The model numbers of the decks are:

RCK60D-26BX
RCK54D-26BX

He said they option will cost approximately $500 more than the regular MMM and that he ordered several of the Bx series with drive over decks for this coming spring.

Here is the brochure: img002.jpg
